Domus Vitae is a private aesthetic medicine practice in San Diego. It was built on a quiet conviction: that the best work in this field is the work no one can see.
Most of us have learned to recognize aesthetic medicine by its failures - the faces that look changed, pulled, done. Good work is invisible by design. It returns a face to itself. Afterward, people notice only that you seem rested, and they cannot say why.
So we keep to the older sense of restraint - not less for its own sake, but only what a face actually asks for. We read a face the way one reads a room: for proportion, for light, for what is already right and best left alone. What we change, we change by degrees. Our attention is on proportion, which does not go out of fashion
HOW THE HOUSE WORKS
Aesthetic medicine here is not a single visit, it’s a relationship, kept over time. A first meeting is a consultation - a time to understand the face, the history, and the intent, and to decide together whether Domus Vitae is the right house for you. From there, the work is planned in stages, unhurried, and reviewed as you change.
It is a small practice, and deliberately so. You are seen by appointment, and by inquiry.
ON PRESENCE
You will not find before-and-after galleries here, nor a wall of the founder's face. It is the nature of this work that it does not photograph - because when it is done well, there is nothing to point to. We would rather you judged the house by how it behaves than by images. The proof is in the room, and in the months that follow.

Every treatment at Domus Vitae is performed by Gabriel. Here, the work is his alone.
A San Diego native and registered nurse, Gabriel began his career at the hospital bedside, where care meant precision and consequence. He came to aesthetic medicine first as a patient, and recognized a discipline in which clinical judgment and artistry are inseparable. He has practiced as an injector since 2019, and works today as a master injector.
He built Domus Vitae around a single conviction: that aesthetic care should be personal, ethical, and restrained — guided always by safety and judgment, and measured against one standard above the rest. To do only what is warranted, and to do it so well it goes unseen.
